Setelah kita membeli sebuah mesin tv universal untuk satu jenis LCD, terkadang kita tertarik untuk mencoba menggunakan mesin tv universal tersebut pada tipe LCD yang berbeda. Sehingga kita perlu menginstal ulang firmware pada board tersebut. Ataupun pada saat kita membeli board TV universal firmware yang terpasang tidak sesuai dengan tipe LCD yang kita punya, sehingga memerlukan instal firmware sesuai dengan tipe LCD.
